CHARLOTTE -- Binswanger has announced the recent sale of UNIFI's former 160,881 sq. ft. building with acreage in Mayodan, North Carolina to Bridgestone Aircraft Tire USA, Inc.

Founded in 1931, Bridgestone Aircraft Tire USA, Inc. is the part of Bridgestone Corporation -- the world's largest tire maker and the rubber industry's manufacturing and sales leader. They are relocating their operations from Miami, Florida, creating almost 100 new jobs and investing $13.5 million.

Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, UNIFI was represented by Doug Faris of Binswanger's Charlotte, North Carolina office. UNIFI is a leader in the texturing, dyeing and twisting of polyester and nylon yarns which are sold to make apparel, home furnishings, and automobile upholstery.

Located at 802 S.
