ROCHESTER HILLS -- Steady growth has prompted FANUC Robotics America, Inc., to expand its Southeast operations with a move to a 22,000 square-foot customer technology center located near Charlotte, N.C.

"As part of the world's leading supplier of robotic automation, we've been serving the automation needs of the Southeast since 1996," said Jim Kosmala, general manager of FANUC Robotics Southeast. "We work with a wide range of industries including consumer goods, construction materials, automotive, food, and beverage."

"The additional floor space in our new facility is dedicated to customer training, application feasibility setup, and demonstrations. In other words, customers can see a working mock-up of their system at our facility, which can help them better understand the benefits and simplicity of robotic automation," said Kosmala. "We also offer system sales, engineering, integration, and local support for our customers and integrators."

FANUC Robotics Southeast provides automated solutions for machine tending, palletizing, part transfer, and general material handling. "Our automated solutions provide significant improvements in throughput, quality and productivity," added Kosmala. "All important factors in helping manufacturers in the Southeast lower their manufacturing costs, and increase their competitive position against overseas competition."

The new facility is located at 13245 Reese Blvd., #140, Huntersville, N.C. 28078.
