Kieran J. Shanahan named to Board of Trustees for Bennett College for Women

RALEIGH, N.C. – Shanahan Law Group has announced that Kieran J. Shanahan,
principal of the firm, has been named to the Board of Trustees for Bennett
College for Women, a small, private, historically black liberal arts college
for women. As a board member, Shanahan’s responsibilities are to ensure that
the college’s purpose, principles, function and activities are being pursued
in a responsible manner with the utmost integrity. Bennett College is located
in Greensboro, North Carolina.

About Kieran J. Shanahan:
Kieran J. Shanahan is a former federal prosecutor and an experienced litigator
with extensive trial court experience in federal and state courts. Shanahan
spent five years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Criminal
Division, where he was recognized as one of the most outstanding federal
prosecutors in the country. Shanahan recently completed four elected terms on
the Raleigh City Council, and has been active in GOP politics for many years.
