(NORTH CAROLINA) Cancer, “second only to heart disease as the leading cause of death,” is diagnosed in over 1.2 million new cases every year*. It has devastating effects on not only the patients, but the families as well. Some are given the opportunity to fight and win the battle against the disease, while others live with the reality of an approaching death. Patients and their families are forced to adjust to a new lifestyle and cope with fate.

The Time Keeper, written by and based on the life of Kevin E. Cropp, offers perspective into life with cancer and how parents can rectify relationships with their children. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer at the age of 38, Linda Wails realizes that her death is inevitable and that an important relationship is still in the balance. It is now or never for her and her son to work out their differences. Only one thing is certain…The Time Keeper will not be kept waiting.
