MarketSmart Advertising adds new assistant account executive

RALEIGH, N.C. – MarketSmart Advertising has enhanced its account services department by hiring Alicia Satterwhite for the position of assistant account executive. She will assist with maintaining existing client accounts and obtaining new business, as well as contribute to new client presentations.

A recent graduate of N.C. State University, with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a concentration in marketing, Satterwhite brings real estate and residential construction experience to MarketSmart Advertising. Combined with her enthusiasm and excitement about the industry, she is a welcome addition to the agency.

“I am thrilled to be a part of the MarketSmart team,” Satterwhite said. “I think this position will provide a fun and challenging atmosphere for me to learn a great deal about the advertising industry from some very talented people.”

Satterwhite’s history reflects the fact that she enjoys a challenge and likes to stay busy. While a senior at N.C. State, she completed a six-month, on-campus internship through EdVenture Partners Marketing of Orindo, Calif., in conjunction with the Recording Industry of America. During the internship she worked with other N.C. State students to develop and implement a campus-wide campaign to decrease the illegal downloading of copyrighted music.

In July of 2005, as a rising senior, Satterwhite earned her North Carolina real estate license. During her junior year, she worked for Vector Marketing Corporation in direct sales. All the while, she also spearheaded marketing efforts for Raleigh-based Satterwhite Construction Inc.
