The Overseer of Order at Minding Your Matters® Organizing Consultants is Janice Russell, CPO-CD. Her superb organizational skills were honed through thirteen years both in education and the corporate world. Janice combines her organizing skills and her desire to help people be more efficient in the necessary matters of their lives to provide personalized organizing solutions to clients. Since establishing Minding Your Matter® Organizing Consultants in 2002, Janice has worked with over 100 residential and business clients on a variety of organizing challenges. She has also enjoyed presenting organizing seminars in a variety of locations including GlaxoSmithKline, SAS, and the United Way.

Janice's experience in educational settings included developing space maximization and organization solutions for a variety of physical settings, designing customized training programs based on needs-assessment, and coaching individuals to create a well thought out plan of action. Her work in a corporate environment involved facilitating global meetings to integrate business processes and implementing team-building activities to establish group cohesiveness and increase productivity. Janice's degree in Psychology from Duke University enables her to implement organizing methods that match the needs and personality of her clients. Her Master of Education degree from Vanderbilt University equips her to teach clients organizing skills that suit their unique learning style.

As a founding member and current President for the North Carolina chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), Janice interacts with professional organizers from across the state. She is a member of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD) and benefits from the training opportunities it provides. Janice holds the distinction as the first Professional Organizer in North Carolina to become a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization as awarded by the NSGCD. She has also earned the Chronic Disorganization Specialist Certificate and the ADD Specialist Certificate. Janice has obtained Certificates of Study in Chronic Disorganization, Basic ADD Issues with the CD Client, CD Client Administration, Basic Physical Conditions Affecting the CD Client, Understanding the Needs of Elderly CD Clients, Basic Mental Health Conditions and Challenges Affecting the CD Client, and Learning Styles and Modalities. In 2004, she presented an international teleclass to NSGCD members on Organizing for Personality Type. Locally, Janice is a member of the North Carolina Chapter of the NAPO, Wake County Women Business Owners' Network, Business Leaders Club, and the Better Business Bureau of Eastern North Carolina.
