Sea Trail Part Of A Yearly Fundraising Tradition

Sunset Beach, N.C. — Sea Trail Golf Resort & Convention Center, located in Sunset Beach, N.C., worked in conjunction with Fairway Outdoor Advertising to help sponsor the 2007 Cape Fear Mini Grand Prix.

The Cape Fear Mini Grand Prix was held Oct. 6 and supports Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center, which helps nearly 200,000 children treated each year as inpatients or in a specialty clinic.

“We are pleased to be able to help sponsor an event like the Grand Prix,” said Tom Palnkers, president of golf at Sea Trail Golf Resort & Convention Center. “Events like this one are a great way to show the community how much we care, and help out a great cause like Duke Children’s Hospital at the same time.”

Sea Trail regularly assists local charities with their fundraising efforts. On October 18, 2007 Sea Trail was again the host to the 2007 Communities in Schools Gala as part of Sea Trail’s efforts to give back to the community.
