R+M’s Second Telly Award Win For Lowes Foods TV Spot

Cary, NC -- R+M, a brand development and management agency, announced their second Telly Award win and first award in the commercial category. R+M received a bronze award in the Regional 28th Annual Telly Awards for their Lowes Foods 30 second television spot. The entry, Greenpoints Breakroom, was designed as part of a campaign that focused on setting the Lowes Foods’ rewards program apart from competing food retailers.
The strategic goal of the campaign was to communicate the unique advantage to the Lowes Foods Greenpoints reward program — that Greenpoints accumulate with every purchase to be redeemed for what the buyer chooses. To communicate that advantage, R+M wanted to bring the Greenpoints to life and let them speak for themselves.
“We wanted customers to relate and develop a connection with the points,” stated Creative Director Shawn Gillen. “Lowes Foods understood the importance of this connection and how we could achieve it through the value of intrigue and the ‘wow’ factor of creative.”
The Greenpoints campaign extended to print and radio media with a similar message. The campaign materials were also awarded two silver medals at the 2007 Triangle ADDY Awards competition held in March.
