Blue Rhino Announces First Annual Top 100 Ideal Cities to Grill In

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Have you ever wondered where it is most likely to find a perfect grilling day during the summer? Now you can find out. Blue Rhino, the leading propane tank exchange brand, has taken its quest for grilling knowledge one step further and identified the top 100 ideal summer grilling cities.

Although we all know that most days are good for grilling, statistics show that grillers are more likely to don the apron and spatula outside during certain weather conditions.

The ideal grilling day is here defined as a summer day (May-August) that is sunny, under 90 degrees and rain-free. By calculating the average sunshine rate, the estimated total number of rain days and the estimated total number of days above 90 degrees, cities were given a final count of number of ideal grilling days. The list was compiled by using data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
