Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association Announces Logo Contest

DURHAM, N.C. – The Ellerbe Creek Watershed Association (ECWA) is looking for a new logo. ECWA is a non-profit citizens' group founded in 1999 to protect water quality and preserve green space in the Ellerbe Creek Watershed, the largest watershed in the city of Durham. In addition to exposure and publicity among our membership and the general public, the designer of the winning logo will receive a $300 cash prize and recognition in our newsletter and on our website ellerbecreek.org.
The winning design will announced Friday June 15th, 2007.
Entrants are encouraged to go to our website and learn about the organization as they contemplate designs. The Ellerbe Creek Watershed is largely urban, but it's a place where beavers, herons, deer and other animals are seen frequently in the green spaces that area residents also enjoy. Any questions should be directed to logo@ellerbecreek.org.
Guidelines Logo will be used in a variety of print and digital work including:
Website, brochure, letterhead, business cards, t-shirts, & maps.
Logo should include 1-2 colors only, photocopy/fax well, and render well in both color and b&w.
