The State Club announces Christopher Corchiani as founding board member

RALEIGH, N.C. – The State Club has named Christopher Corchiani as a member of The State Club’s founding board of directors. In this position, Corchiani will be responsible for all of the rules and regulations pertaining to the operations of The State Club, which serves as the finest gathering place in North Carolina for NC State Alumni and friends for fine dining and entertaining.

About Christopher Corchiani:
Chris Corchiani is a member of The State Club’s Founding Board of Directors, where he is responsible for all the rules and regulations pertaining to the operations of the Club. Chris is Owner of DNJ Mortgage, the “Original Home of the No Closing Cost Mortgage”. DNJ Mortgage is a loyal supporter of college athletics and charitable organizations in the Triangle region, with offices in Cary, Raleigh, Greensboro and Charlotte. Chris was a star point guard in the NC State basketball program, where he was the first player in NCAA history to reach 1000 assists and was the all time leader in steals and assists. After graduation, Chris spent two years with the Orlando Magic and one year with the Boston Celtics. He also played professional basketball for eight years in Europe in various countries such as Turkey, Spain, Italy and Germany. Chris currently is part of the NC State Wolfpack pre-game radio show on WPTF, where he serves as an analyst to discuss ACC and NC State basketball games. In addition, Chris is involved in several organizations throughout the community and serves as an active board member of the NC State Alumni Association, the Faculty Athletic Council and the Epilepsy Foundation of North Carolina. Chris also serves as a guest speaker for various youth organizations and volunteers as a basketball coach for the YMCA and the Salvation Army. Chris and his wife, Stewart, reside in Raleigh with their five children; Kevin, Christopher, Tommy, Annabelle and Hugo.
