Rex Healthcare Selects Novlet Bradshaw as New Chief Information Officer

RALEIGH, N.C. – Rex Healthcare, a private, not-for-profit healthcare system in Raleigh, N.C., today announced the addition of Novlet Mattis Bradshaw as the hospital’s new chief information officer. Bradshaw comes to Rex from Dell and The Seton Family of Hospitals (SFH) in Austin, Texas, where she served as the IT organization’s senior consultant and program director.

In her new position as CIO, Bradshaw will be responsible for the technology and computer services and systems that support Rex Healthcare.

While at SFH, Bradshaw was accountable for setting and aligning the facility’s strategic and tactical information system direction. Her responsibilities also included delivering projects and services to clinical, business and executive stakeholders. Experienced in managing enterprise projects, executive relationships, and P&L responsibilities, Bradshaw also served as the senior IT consultant for several different school systems in Texas and Florida. Prior to that, she was a senior IT manager for Lucent Technologies.

With more than 20 years of IT experience under her belt, Bradshaw earned her MBA in international business from George Washington University. She received her undergraduate degree in management information systems from Howard University. Bradshaw has a Master’s certificate in project management and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
