The John R. McAdams Company Introduces EcoEngineering

RTP, N.C. - The John R. McAdams Company, a land development design consulting firm with offices in RTP and Charlotte, today announced the creation of a new division called EcoEngineering. The 14-person division will focus on providing comprehensive environmental and stormwater services including stormwater engineering, wetland delineation and permitting, dams, and stream and wetland restoration.
“Creating a separate division for environmental and stormwater services allows us to work with a variety of public and private statewide clients in addition to the traditional land development work that the McAdams Company is known for,” said Amos Clark, director of the EcoEngineering Division.
Because the McAdams name is entrenched as a land development services organization, it was decided that a fresh marketing identity would be advantageous in marketing these services to entities outside of the land development realm. Among the services provided are: stormwater engineering and design, riverine hydraulic analysis (flood studies), environmental permitting and remediation, wetland/stream delineation, stream restoration, rules and regulations interpretation, mitigation planning, stormwater and environmental master planning, protected species surveys, natural resource surveys and feasibility studies. The EcoEngineering staff includes regional stormwater management experts, professional wetland scientists and registered environmental managers. Some members of the EcoEngineering staff have work experience in the public sector in their areas of expertise.
EcoEngineering launches April 2, the 29th anniversary of the founding of The John R. McAdams Company.
