Brian Propst earns Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow professional designation

Brian T. Propst, LUTCF, CLTC, Financial Planner with the Mid Atlantic Firm of John Hancock Financial Network, has earned the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) professional designation. The LUTCF is conferred only upon those individuals who meet or exceed the exacting qualification standards determined by the two organizations that jointly sponsor the designation, The American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
The designation marks an advisor’s long-term commitment to professionalism on behalf of clients, establishes competence and business experience, marks a commitment to the governing body’s Code of Ethics and fosters additional professional development. In addition to the successful completion of course curriculum, LUTCF candidates must also complete an ethics course and be a member in good standing of NAIFA.
Propst is a member of the Raleigh Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and has been active in the profession since 1995. He currently holds the Certified in Long Term Care designation as well. The Mid Atlantic Firm of John Hancock Financial Network has been helping individuals and businesses in North Carolina and Virginia accumulate and preserve wealth over 50 years.
Conferees will be honored this year during The American College national Symposium and Commencement exercises taking place in November 2008 in Wakiki, Hawaii. Since the introduction of the of the LUTCF designation in 1984, more than 65,000 advisors in the United States have earned the designation.
