GOLSBORO, N.C. -- The law firm of White & Allen, P.A. has acquired the legal practice of newly elected Superior Court Judge Arnold O. Jones II and will immediately open a new office in Goldsboro, an addition to other White & Allen offices in Kinston, New Bern and Snow Hill.

Delaina Davis “Dee” Boyd will be the attorney in residence at the new White & Allen office. She has been with White & Allen for nine years and is currently in the Snow Hill office. Boyd and Jones will work together in a transition period for approximately 45 days.

Jones said, “I am delighted that White & Allen, P.A. will be working with my existing clients and, of course, many new ones from the Wayne Country area. Dee Boyd will make this transition quickly and well.”

Boyd’s practice in Snow Hill was concentrated in domestic law, juvenile law and criminal law. That experience is expected to mesh effectively with Jones’ longtime emphasis on family law.

Boyd commented, “We are delighted at White & Allen to have this expanded presence in Goldsboro and Wayne County. We recognize the convenience this will offer our Wayne County clients.”

Boyd, an N.C. State University graduate and former public school teacher, graduated from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 1999. She is licensed to practice before all North Carolina Courts as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Eighth Judicial District Bar Association, and the Lenoir County Bar Association. She serves as the parent attorney for the Family Dependency Treatment Court.

White & Allen, P.A. is a full-service law firm that has offered a wide range of legal services to Eastern North Carolina since 1927. The firm has offices in Kinston, New Bern and Snow Hill. Its practice includes emphases in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, civil litigation, personal injury, commercial law, corporate law, criminal law, elder law, employee benefits, employment law, estate planning and administration, family law, health care law, real estate and tax planning.
