Pulte Homes Seeking Sponsors for N.C. Children’s Promise Charity Golf Classic

RALEIGH, N.C. – Pulte Homes of Raleigh will host its first ever Pulte Homes Charity Golf Classic benefiting the N.C. Children’s Promise, a nonprofit organization supporting the N.C. Children’s Hospital. The homebuilder is seeking corporate and individual sponsors for the September 15 golf tournament to be held at Devils Ridge Country Club in Holly Springs.

The N.C. Children’s Promise is a year-round fundraising campaign that includes numerous events, projects and partnerships throughout the community. Its mission is to secure financial and community resources to provide comprehensive, family-centered healthcare for the children of North Carolina and surrounding states. Through unrestricted funding, the N.C. Children’s Promise can:

• Provide advanced, comprehensive care to children from all 100 counties in North Carolina, regardless of their families’ abilities to pay;
• Maintain a family-focused, child-friendly environment, while providing state-of-the-art care for children with complex and life-threatening health problems; and
• Continue cutting-edge research that assures new discoveries for treating childhood diseases.

Children’s Promise for the past few years,” said Chris Martin, vice president of marketing. “Our company saw this golf tournament as a way to take our support to the next level and as a way to bring awareness to the N.C. Children’s Promise and the N.C. Children’s Hospital.”

The N.C. Children’s Promise has been the charity of choice for Pulte Homes for the past two years. In addition to providing volunteers and support at the annual N.C. Children’s Promise radiothon/telethon, Pulte has also sponsored a “Buy Your Way Out of Work” day each year to the Raleigh division. All Raleigh Pulte employees can “buy” their way out of work the day before Thanksgiving by making a donation to the N.C. Children’s Promise.
