Northwestern Mutual Names Laura Roberts as Director of Recruiting for Chapel Hill Office

CHAPEL, HILL, N.C. – Laura Roberts has been named as the new director of recruiting for the Chapel Hill district office of Carolina Condrey Group, part of the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network serving eastern North Carolina.

In her new position, Roberts will join a local network office that offers a wide array of products including life insurance, disability income insurance, and annuities. Roberts will recruit individuals of exceptional talent, drive and ability to fill the company’s many diverse career opportunities.

Before joining the Carolina Condrey Group, Roberts served as an event planner with The Catering Company in Chapel Hill, as the recruiting director and a legal assistant with the law firm Jones, Day, Reavis and Pogue in Atlanta, GA, and as a legal assistant with Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. in Atlanta as well.

Roberts is a native of Durham, and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1992. She has been a member of the Junior Leagues of Atlanta and Durham, a regular volunteer with the Caring House in Durham and is actively involved with her church, the Church of the Good Shepard, and in her children’s education as a parent representative at Durham Academy. Roberts resides in Durham with her husband, John, and their son Mason, 9, and daughter Wariner, 7.
