Cary Printing Utilizes More Eco-Friendly Ink

Morrisville, NC – In the last quarter, Cary Printing has navigated to the use of more environmentally friendly inks in its commercial print work. Cary Printing made the move to Toyo Ink because of Toyo Ink’s dedication to social and environmental responsibilities. Cary Printing remains focused on sustainability initiatives.

Cary Printing is utilizing the HyPlus 100 ink from Toyo Ink Manufacturing Co. The HyPlus 100 offers a “high-quality, green printing alternative in the pressroom”. HyPlus 100 allows Cary Printing to “replace inks containing petroleum-derived solvents with formulations for all four basic colors that are entirely free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It contains 100 percent solids, ensuring a sharp dot and superior coverage. HyPlus 100 also reduces the residual organic solvents contained in the printed goods of food packages and other materials”.
