RALEIGH, N.C. – Ragsdale Liggett PLLC has announced the firm’s donation of 221 pounds of food to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina as part of the North Carolina Bar Association Young Lawyers Division’s 1st Legal Feeding Frenzy. The event was launched in conjunction with the NCBA’s 4ALL Campaign, which seeks to make civil legal assistance available to all North Carolinians. The various legal communities throughout the state conducted food drives during March with an overall goal of 250,000 pounds of food. The goods collected by Ragsdale Liggett will produce about 186 meals for North Carolina’s needy families.
“We are pleased with our contribution to the NCBA’s Legal Feeding Frenzy,” said Melissa Dewey Brumback, partner at Ragsdale Liggett PLLC. “Ragsdale Liggett is committed to giving back to the community, and this is a great event to which law firms can donate their time and resources.”
