Video Produced By Episode XI Studios Showcases Jury Evidence Recording System
Posted: 05-20-2009 : CHARLOTTE, N.C.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Full service video production, photography, and event planning company-Episode XI Studios-is contracted by the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina to produce an informational video, showcasing the benefits of the newly developed Jury Evidence Recording System, or JERS. The Western District is comprised of 32 counties and stretches from Charlotte to the borders of South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Seeing a need for improvement in the way the court handles evidence review, John Bain and Kent Creasy of the IT department designed new software to display evidence on-demand for jurors. The software effectively shortens jury deliberation time by allowing evidence to be viewed in the deliberation room instead of forcing everyone to return to the courtroom. The Jury Evidence Recording System also stores and catalogs evidence electronically for future appellate court needs.
Episode XI Studios, LLC is located in Charlotte, NC, and believes in going well beyond a camera and a tripod, by using a cinema approach of using camera cranes and dollies. The end result isn’t a video production, but a Hollywood-style production, and all for the small to mid-sized companies.
