Bynum Front Porch Selling Trees, Wreaths and Garland to Benefit Scholarship Fund

Bynum, N.C. - Bynum Front Porch, a non-profit community organization, is taking pre-orders for fresh cut North Carolina Fraser fir Christmas trees, wreaths and garland until Monday, November 30. Money raised from the sale will help fund two annual scholarships for Chatham County high school seniors

To ensure the freshest trees possible, the Christmas tree farm will only cut trees that have been pre-ordered a week prior to delivery. On Saturday, December 5, Christmas trees, wreaths and garland can be picked up at the Bynum General Store between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 950 Bynum Road.

Trees range from five feet to 12 feet and cost between $45.00 and $150.00. Wreaths are $25.00 each and garland is $1.00 per foot. A $25.00 deposit is needed for trees and a $10.00 deposit is needed for wreaths. The balance can be paid when items are picked up. Visit www.bynumfrontporch.org to place pre-orders.

There is an option to have trees delivered for an additional $20.00 if pick up is not possible.

“We want the annual Bynum Front Porch Christmas tree sale to become a holiday family tradition,” said event organizer Luke Barrow. “Even if you don’t get a tree, you can join us for coffee and hot chocolate on December 5 and kick off your holiday season.”
