COLUMBIA, S.C. - Richardson Plowden & Robinson, P.A., has announced the addition of its newest attorney, Caleb Martin Riser, to the Columbia-based law firm. He will focus his practice on construction law.

Riser brings a unique perspective to Richardson Plowden’s construction law practice group. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Tennessee where he graduated cum laude. He served as an intern architect and project manager for TVS-DESIGN, an architecture firm with offices in Atlanta, Chicago and Dubai. He went on to earn his juris doctor from the Regent University School of Law in Virginia. While in law school, Riser was chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board.

Prior to joining Richardson Plowden, Riser served as a law clerk for the firm. He is a member of the American Bar Association and an associate member of the American Institute of Architects.

Commenting on Riser’s hiring, Richardson Plowden managing shareholder Frank Mack said, “Construction law is complex. Caleb’s background in architecture and law brings valuable experience and knowledge to the Firm’s clients in all aspects of construction from architects, engineers, contractors and developers.”
