West Brother’s Companies Honored for Service and Growth

RALEIGH, N.C. – West Brother’s Companies was honored to receive recognition in two publications recently for their commitment to strong customer service and for their solid financial performance. Both Business North Carolina and Inbound Logistics magazines have placed West Brother’s on their Top 100 honor rolls as a clear sign of excellent performance during an incredibly challenging business environment that has impacted the transportation industry greatly.

West Brother’s Companies is listed in Business North Carolina magazine’s Top 100 Private Companies based on their 2008 revenue. The transportation and logistics services company, which employs over 500 people, reported 2008 revenues in the range of $60 to $99 million.

Inbound Logistics magazine has also honored West Brother’s Transportation Services in its list of Top 100 Motor Carriers. This comprehensive listing, chosen by editors from more than 200 companies, is based upon questionnaires, online research and feedback from both transportation companies and shippers. The company reports an on-time delivery rate of more than 99% and a claims ratio of less than 0.05% of all shipments.
