Oct 14-Nov25: 'Wishbones for Pets' to benefit sheltered pets in Guilford County

Kel’s Critters Pet Sitting is launching a community event called "Wishbones for Pets." This program will benefit sheltered pets in Guilford County (with proceeds going to Happy Hills Animal Foundation) and will kick off 6 weeks prior to Thanksgiving. Guilford County is the purrrfect place to show our spirit of Thanksgiving to fur kids that are less fortunate than our own.
The dates of the event will be October 14th - November 25th. Located throughout the city will be "drop" boxes for you to donate food, toys, cleaning products, or any other items that may be needed. You can stop by a local store and drop these items off to be distributed to the Happy Hills Animal Foundation, Inc. You may also make a monetary donations by contacting them directly, or contacting Kel’s Critters Pet Sitting. Make all payments to Happy Hills Animal Foundation, Inc.
Wishbones for Pets is a charitable program designed to collect and distribute pet goods/funds for local pet shelters and other pet related agencies in their own community. The program began on October 18, 2004 (approximately six weeks prior to Thanksgiving) by Janet Depathy of Under My Wings Pet Sitting in Plymouth, MA.
Professional pet sitters from around the country will be offering a pet goods/fund drive prior to Thanksgiving with all the proceeds going to their favorite pet related charity.
